Are you looking for ways to get more involved with CASA of Siskiyou County? Whether you have lots of time or little time to contribute, whether you want to work directly with a child in need or would rather help with special events, we have a volunteer opportunity that is the right fit for you. There are many types of volunteer opportunities at CASA of Siskiyou County!
A small investment of your time can change a child’s life forever.
A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer is a trained citizen who is appointed by a judge to represent the best interests of a child in dependency court. CASA volunteers are adult men and women who give time each week to advocate for a child’s safety and best interest. CASA volunteers help to change a child's life for a brighter future, my help to end the cycle of abuse and neglect, have an opportunity to learn about the juvenile court system, and become actively involved in their community. No special experience is needed; our agency provides a thorough training and supervisors who provide guidance and support to our advocates. Applicants must have only the desire and commitment to change a child’s life.
